Shipping Policy:

Direct Pet Rx only ships in the United States.  Any order over $35 will ship for free.  The majority of orders will go Fed Ex ground and some USPS.  For prescription items, please allow a 1-3 days for vet approval. 

Return Policy:

Any prescription items cannot be returned due to state law.  For all other items, please email return request to support@directpetrx.com where you will receive a return authorization number.  Once we provide you with a return number, you will need to include it directly on the shipping label or inside of the packaging.  In order for the items to meet the return criteria, they must be unused  in the original packaging as the customer received them.  The item will be refused for return if it has visibly been used.  If the item is refused the item will be shipped back to the customer at their expense.  

All returns are subject to a restocking fee unless the an exchange is made.  If an exchange is made, the restocking fee will be waived.  Please refer below for the restocking fee breakdown:

Items that receive a 20% restocking fee:

Pet Beds              Pet Gates            Booster Bath                     Crates                  Pet Ramps          Pet Strollers

All other items receive a 15% restocking fee.

If a customer refuses an order, a credit will be issued for the order once the package is returned to our facility.  The credit will be applied for the cost of the item minus the restocking fee and shipping cost.  

All Pet Gear sales are final.  These items cannot be returned after they are purchased.  If there is an issue with a Pet Gear item, you will need to contact Pet Gear directly for assistance. 

Mr. Herzher's items can be returned, however, the packages must be returned directly back to the manufacturer.  For these items, it is required that the item be returned by a carrier with proof of delivery. 

Again, we cannot accept used product back for return. 


Exchange Policy:

Exchanges may be made within 30 days of purchase.  Newly packaged, unopened products in resaleable condition may be exchanged.  There will be a 15% restocking fee as well as a $8.95 shipping charge.  Store credit will be issued if products differ in price.

Can I cancel or change an order once I've made it?:
NO orders may be cancelled or changed. All orders occur in real time and cannot be cancelled or changed after it has been placed. The customer assumes all responsibility for information provided and the charges when placing the order.

Placing and order :

1. Place an item(s) in your shopping cart by clicking on the "Add to shopping cart" button, which is located below the product description on each product page.

2. Choose "Check Out" at the bottom of your shopping cart after you are done shopping. Prior to checking out, you can also click on the Register button (optional) to create a login and password for easy repeat ordering, so you don't have to re-enter information every time you order.

3. Complete the checkout process by providing billing and shipping information.

4. Submit a valid credit card.

SECURITY:

All credit card transactions are completely secured. We use the Stronghold secure server, currently the second best selling secure server software, and in our opinion, technically the best product. It supports industry-standard 128-bit SSL encryption.

All online transactions are handled with industry-standard SSL encryption. When you enter your credit card number into the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form, then decoded when it gets to us. If you are not the kind of person who worries about being hit by lightning as you're crossing the street, you probably don't have to worry that your credit card number will be intercepted on the way to a secure Web site.
